Week 11 & 12 of daily fantasy basketball is officially in the books! Here are some random thoughts looking forward to Week 13:
Rajon Rondo, Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger & Co: Looks like they’re cleaning house. It definitely seems like they’re loading up on draft picks and hoping to pick the next Superstar. Good luck.
Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez & Co: Bunch of old folks
Carmelo Anthony, Jose Calderon, Amare Stoudemire & Co: They’re looking worse than the 76’ers. For daily fantasy basketball purposes, avoid at all costs.
Michael Carter-Williams & Co: This team has competition on who is going to be the worst team in the league.
Kyle Lowry, Demar Derozan, Jonas Valanciunas & Co: I always thought this team was overrated. They have been on a slump and it probably has something to do with Derozan being hurt. Catch Demar Derozan while he’s cheap!
Rajon Rondo, Dirk Nowiztki, Monta Ellis, Tyson Chandler & Co: Who scores for Dallas? They have way too many options.
James Harden, Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard & Co: Looks like James Harden hopped on a roller coaster ride. He’s hit or miss with everyone healthy. For daily fantasy basketball, he will always be very capable of going 50+ FPS on any given night regardless of their opponent.
Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Mike Conley & Co: Welcome Jeff Green. The Grizz needed another option on offense and they did well with picking up Green. For daily fantasy basketball, having two premiere big men will help Green get solid looks.
Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans, Jrue Holiday & Co: While the Brow and Holiday are out, be sure to play Tyreke Evans. Ryan Anderson has been on a huge shooting slump. Be sure to catch him while he’s cheap.
Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard & Co: When the “Big 3” rests, keep tabs on everyone on that roster. They are all cheap risky players, but high reward players.
Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol & Co: Derrick Rose is starting to look more and more like his old self have as the season progresses.
Lebron James, Kyrie Iriving, Kevin Love & Co: The question is… Can Lebron James and Kevin Love co-exist? Love was committed to playing defense. We have yet to see it. For daily fantasy basketball, be sure to play any big man versus Kevin Love.
Brandon Jennings, Josh Smith Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond & Co: This team is clearly much better without Josh Smith after winning five straight. There strategy is comprised of Andre Drummond and all shooters.
David West, Roy Hibbert & Co: My opinion hasn’t changed from what it was prior. For daily fantasy basketball, be sure to avoid these guys. Their pace is way too slow and they look to play a half court game.
Jabari Parker Greek Freak, Brandon Knight, & Co: JKidd is on the top list for the Most Random Coach of the year. Whatever he’s doing is working, but for daily fantasy basketball, it’s not.
Ty Lawson, Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried, Timothy Mozgov & Co: I’m sick of playing Kenneth Faried. Avoid at all costs. There are 4 big men who are in constant rotation. Shaw will go with whoever is hot.
Mo Williams, Andrew Wiggins, Thaddeus Young & Co: Andrew Wiggins is the future of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s very costly, but plays both starter and scrub minutes.
Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka & Co: Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant = Consistency. You pay a premium for their services, however; for daily fantasy basketball you know what you’ll get out of them.
Damian Lillard, Nicolas Batum, Lamarcus Aldridge & Co: Nicolas Batum has been on a huge slump this season. Hopefully, we can catch him while he’s cheap.
Trey Burke, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors & Co: With Alec Burks out for the season, it looks like Trey Burke will get all the minutes he can handle. Oh and this Rudy Gobert guy? His wingspan is a near 7-9 wingspan. He almost reminds me of Anthony Davis.
Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap, Al Horford & Co: They continue to amaze me. One of my favorite teams to watch this season. They have been BALLIN’.
Kemba Walker, Lance Stephenson, Al Jefferson & Co: Well Kemba looks to be out a while. The question is… who takes the 20 shots he usually takes?
Mario Chalmers, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh & Co: They are nobody with out LBJ.
Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, Nikola Vucevic & Co: Elfrid Payton will probably runner up in the ROY ladder behind Andrew Wiggins. The kid plays start and scrub time.
John Wall, Bradley Beal, Marcin Gortat & Co: John Wall is finally on sale! Catch him while you can!
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Bogut & Co: Stephen Curry never ceases to amaze me. For daily fantasy basketball, be sure to always keep him on your radar.
Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan & Co: Blake Griffin the the most consistent player on this roster. He does it all. For daily fantasy basketball, when in doubt at the PF position, play BG.
Kobe Bryant & Co: Mamba is listening to his body and taking a break here and there. Good for you Mamba. Sounds like he could be contemplating early retirement. The question is… for daily fantasy basketball, who takes the 20+ shots Bryant takes when he’s in?
Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas, Gerald Green & Co: One of the fastest pace teams in the NBA. They are definitely a run and gun type of team.
Darren Collison, Rudy Gay, Demarcus Cousins & Co: Rudy Gay and Demarcus Cousins have been battling injuries. When they’re out, be sure to catch the player(s) who will take the offensive load that they leave behind.
